Bryce's First Birthday Party: Under the Sea

Saturday was party day!
It was a great afternoon with family and friends.
Water bottle labels, food cards, invites, pin the tail game and more: Heather Ozee Designs
Wave background: Oriental Trading
Net: found on the beach in Hawaii by my family when I was 14
My inspiration piece/Table cloth: Target clearance last year for $3.48 (Woot! Woot!)
Metal bins and platters: Target (dollar spot) and Walmart (summer stuff)
Music: Beach Boys station on Pandora
Food: Watermelon, peanut butter and jellyfish sandwiches, chicken (not) of the sea sandwiches, salt water taffy, goldfish crackers, chips and salsa, jello cups, cold water bottles.
I figured out (since I had no fridge space for water bottles) that if you put them in the freezer for a couple hours before the party they will be perfectly chilled!
I saw this crabwich in Family Fun magazine and had to make it!
This is the entrance from our garden on the side of our house/yard. The wind was blowing but it was a gorgeous day!
 Entrance from the front yard.
Fish and fins/goggles from the dollar store.
These are the jello cups with a gummy octopus (found at Walmart).
Birthday boy trying watermelon for the first time.
 Sis blowing bubbles for us.
Enjoying the Puffer Fish pool.

We also had an ocean friends sprinkler. It was $4.99 at Target. I can't find it online. It was a big hit.
Pin the tail on the sea horse. The kids loved this!
I found foam under the sea stickers with big shells at Walmart last year.
 Eating a fish cupcake.
He loved his gifts, especially the balls!
Me, the hubs, and the birthday boy.
Yes, the hubs' eyes are closed but I looked better in this one. Sorry honey! We had a great time.
Happy Birthday Bryce! I hope you enjoyed your first birthday party as much as I enjoyed putting it all together for you! I am missing a picture of the fish cupcakes. It's on my dad's camera.
